As much as I have desired hibernation for myself before and during December, it was not the case. Dreading all the more events that were nearing the official holidays here in Italy, I have decided to pull myself together with runway inspired make up.
It’s Beginning to Look like Rossoh
I have noted a bold lip at a few shows in Milan: Ferragamo, Gucci and N21. And what can be better than the reddest red during jolly family time. It highlights a feral smile just so. Opt for Hey Broh, if you need to balance your look and appear civil.
I have decided to make my present wrapping a tad festive, with Rossoh feat. Ragu (using the latter on cheeks as well). I have been recycling this look for every celebratory occasion, just as well as my wrapping paper.
Baby, my Calendar is Full
And it is cold outside. One of the events I had to make myself present for, was a short movie screening. For a big outing like that, I have decided to call my favourite make up artist Alice Maggioni. I wanted to finally get my hands on Hi_liner and look extraordinary. We took Luisa Spagnoli eye make up for inspiration (also D&G for a classy fleek) but then opted for something else. This is a reminder to ignore the runway trends and do whatever your inner Julia Fox calls for.
Cappriccio stayed strong for me for the rest of the evening.
All I want for Christmas is August
There is one week in December when suddenly all of your friends are born (those Sagittariuses), EVERYONE hosts an event and one of your girls decides to perform in a club with a candelabra on her head (Hey, Madeline). In between birthdays and apericenas, I honestly regret not getting injections or boundaries. Staying way pass my bedtime, failing to say no and winter heating began to take a toll on my skin. I needed to channel Diane Kendal’s Max Mara.
It was time to marry my favourite concealer to Oh Sole Mio (bronzer on every surface including chest and eyelids, why not). Glassy was always destined to compliment not only cheeks but also lips, with a hint of Ragu. Intenso Mascara to top it all off.
I have decided to glow the rest of the holiday season. If I must be out, my make up will be holding my ‘amicable’ social personality together.
